Sommelier Nordiq is a love story — of a couple and of a shared passion. Behind every cuvée are Steven and Elizabeth — partners in life and in business.
Steven
Steven, a former palliative care nurse, brought the same intensity to wine that once defined his work in healthcare. It's not unusual for him to wake up in the middle of the night with a blending idea, jot it down, and go back to sleep. Today, as a sommelier, he is devoted to northern wines, constantly pursuing balance, precision, and emotion in every bottle. An artist at heart, he crafts wines that are precise, deeply human, and made to bring people together—wines that speak as much to the heart as they do to the palate.
Elizabeth
Elizabeth, a former journalist and host at Radio-Canada, holds a master’s degree from Columbia University in New York. As President and majority shareholder of Vins Nordiq, she is one of the few women leading a wine company in Canada. She brings her expertise in strategy, communications, and entrepreneurship to a clear ambition: putting northern wines on the map.
